This research examines anti-colonialism in literature, exploring its significance and representation in diverse contexts. Employing a qualitative approach, the study conducts an extensive literature review, encompassing academic literature, books, and critical essays. Thematic analysis identifies key motifs of anti-colonial resistance in literary works from various traditions. Anti-colonialism emerges as a powerful phenomenon in literature, reflecting the collective opposition of peoples against colonial oppression. Literature serves as a medium to express the experiences of colonized peoples, challenging dominant colonial narratives, and fostering discussions on historical injustices and human rights in postcolonial societies. The article recognizes anti-colonialism as a complex historical process shaped by unique regional experiences and colonial legacies. Literary works offer valuable insights into diverse perspectives and experiences during the colonial era, portraying multifaceted views of colonial attitudes and responses. В выступлениях люди могут образно выражать свои мысли не только с помощью языковых символов, но и с помощью неязыковых символов. В статье на конкретных примерах доказывается единый экспрессивный набор языковых символов (жест, намекать и т. д.), используемый для выявления сокровенных мыслей танцоров, участвующих в дискурсе красноречивых слов. Тенденция показала, что мы больше думаем о том, что мы говорим, чем о жестах, которые мы можем сделать во время речи. Невербальный язык обычно выражает эмоции, которые субъект не хотел выражать. Через язык нашего тела эмоции людей являются формой непосредственного проявления. Язык тела не сильно превосходит высшие уровни сознания, и они находятся вне нашего контроля. В словаре Махмута Кашгари впервые упоминается, что язык жестов использовался как секретный ключ к войне. Это можно проследить визуально при рассмотрении процесса дальнейшего следы продолжени в литературы. В ораторских речах кинесика-жесты говорящего выражены также образно через неязыковые символы. Ораторское исскуство (даугеры, истцы и т.д.) выводили свою внутреннюю игру наружу через жесты.

The objective of this research is to reflect on the relationship between language policy and planning and the transformational nature of linguistic landscape of Kazakhstan. The study focusing on primary data resources (globalization, Latinization, localization, hybridization, westernization), resulted in the rise in visibility, prestige and everyday use of Kazakh language and the growing influence of the English in the city’s linguistic landscape. It argues that the so-called language fashion promotes a positive view of language in everyday communication. Considering language choices in the linguistic landscape emanating from the "top-down" (centralized policies) and "bottom-up"(grass-roots and local initiatives), the article presents examples found in Astana’s linguistic landscape that give visibility to the multilingual and bilingual nature of the signs. The research not only employs a qualitative approach for data collection and analysis but also incorporates visual research methods, highlighting the multidimensional nature of the study and its comprehensive exploration of the subject matter.

This research article examines the transmission of verbal aggression in political discourse, particularly in pre-election debates, across three distinct system languages: English, Kazakh, and Russian. The study presents a comprehensive analysis of how candidates employ verbal aggression as a communication strategy in debates conducted in these languages, taking into account their unique cultural and linguistic features. The research adopts a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative discourse analysis and quantitative content analysis, to identify and categorize the various strategies and levels of verbal aggression used by candidates in the selected debates. Additionally, the study introduces the term "aggressogen," a measure of the degree of verbal aggression in a person's speech across different system languages and the tolerance levels of speakers of each language. Results demonstrate that the utilization of verbal aggression in pre-election debates evokes diverse reactions from the audience, which are influenced by cultural norms and individual preferences of listeners. The study finds that candidates may employ aggressive expressions strategically to assert strength and determination or to discredit opponents, but such behavior can also lead to negative perceptions and rejection from certain audience segments. Furthermore, the research highlights the significance of cultural and linguistic nuances in shaping the interpretation and acceptance of verbal aggression in political discourse. The study emphasizes the importance of considering cultural contexts when analyzing the impact of verbal aggression on the audience's perception of candidates. Moreover, the introduction of the term "aggressogen" contributes to the field of linguistic studies and political discourse analysis, laying the groundwork for further research in this domain. Overall, this research offers valuable implications for political communication and translation studies, deepening our understanding of verbal aggression's role in shaping political discourse in diverse linguistic and cultural settings.

The article is devoted to the problem of identifying the features of the interpretation of realias in religious discourse by the material of the sermons of English-speaking Islamic theologians. This article discusses such concepts as "Islamic discourse", "interpretation of Islamic realias", "translation transformations". Possessing significant cultural and pragmatic potential, realias still cause a number of difficulties both in terms of extralinguistic interpretation and in terms of translation adaptation. Sermons cannot be imagined without Islamic realias, they accumulate a significant amount of nationally significant information, reflect the history, religious beliefs and culture of the people to which they belong. As a result, there is a great need to study issues related to the interpretation and translation of Islamic realias in the English language discourse. A corpus of Islamic realias has been formed for further translation analysis. In the practical part, the collected material has been correlated with the existing principles of realia division, and the identified nominations denoting realias have been classified according to the thematic principle, and are also arranged in lexico-semantic fields. In the translation aspect, the ways of transferring Islamic realias into Russian are considered and described.

В данной статье собраны легенды, факты, касающиеся личности Едиге в трудах известного казахского поэта, фольклориста, историка, этнографа, востоковеда Машхур Жусип Копеева. Также подробно рассмотрены образцы собранные Машхур Жусипом об Едиге, о том как он их собирал из уст народа, с какой целью публиковал и исследовал. В текстах, относящихся к Едиге, встречаются ценные факты, касающиеся известных казахских исторических деятелей Токтамыс хана, Абылай хана, Толе би, Тогас би и др. Здесь взаимно сравниваются и всесторонне рассматриваются различные варианты образцов, опубликованные в разных сборниках, книгах, касающиеся личности Едиге. Особенности и отличия, возникшие в ходе этих сравнений, будут подробно рассмотрены в статье. Некоторые образцы фольклора, относящиеся к личности Едиге, сохранились только в рукописях Машхур Жусипа. Все это показывает, насколько ценны исторические легенды, собранные Машхур Жусипом, в том числе фольклорные образцы, относящиеся к личности Едиге. Кроме того, мнения и факты об Едиге изучаются в сравнении с трудами таких ученых, как Г. Потанин, О. Альжанов, Н. Торекулов, Х. Досмухамедов, М. Ауэзов, С. Каскабасов, Р. Бердибаев, Ш. Ибраев, С. Сикымбаева и др.

When the development of globalization processes become a huge field of communication, the question of the effectiveness of inter-ethnic interaction arises in the world. In this regard, it is very important to have a proper understanding of the worldview of a nation. This article is devoted to the close connection between the national worldview and language as well as the translation and interpretation of the concepts presenting the linguistic image of the world on the base of Abai’s works were studied and conceptualised in western surveys. This article examines the important values for science which are scientific and practical values. The problems of conceptualization of historical and cultural concepts and reception in other nation’s consciousness are determined through the analysis of the linguistic image of the world. The results of the research can be used in the course «Abai studies» and in linguistics, philosophy, cultural studies as well as in conducting research works. In the study of the linguistic image of the world as a cultural phenomenon, various paradigms, linguistic and cultural categories were considered based on the principle of consistency and interdisciplinary approach. The works of western researchers dealing with the problems of Abai studies, poems from Abai’s complete collection of works were selected as the object of research. This article discusses the general characteristics and main periods of development of Russian literature of the Pavlodar Irtysh region as an essential part of Kazakhstani literary process. As a continuation of a series of articles on the regional literature of the region as an object of the author’s doctoral dissertation research, this study summarizes currently available information on this topic and presents the author’s concept of periodization of the Russian literature of the region according to the socio-political, cultural, ideological processes in regional, Kazakhstani and world space. The study allows to identify the distinction of the literary process of the Pavlodar Irtysh region in its retro- and perspective based on systematization of literary facts of more than a century of history, and as a result, to qualify the place of this literature in the Kazakhstani and world literary continuum. At the initial stage of its origin, regional literature was associated with writers, who later became remarkable figures of Soviet Russian literature, but protected a metaphysical, spiritual connection with Pavlodar and Kazakhstan as a whole. At the second stage of its development, the Pavlodar Russian-speaking literature was in compliance with the development of Soviet Russian literature. The third period of development is characterized by feelings of uncertainty, anxiety for the future of the country and people, for the retaining of the moral and spiritual foundations of a society. At the present stage, Internet resources are becoming a favorite form of communication between word-painters and readers, suggesting various forms of self-presentation of authors, the possibility of feedback and commenting; the women’s poetry is developing.
