The article examines hybrid words in the field of information technology terminology. Because information technology terminology is produced in English, the English language now influences all languages on the planet. In addition to Kazakh, other languages are forced to borrow terms from the English vocabulary. In contrast, the English language acquired loan terms from nearly 300 languages. The most prevalent in English are terms acquired from Latin, Greek, and French. In our research paper, the classifications of researchers regarding borrowed words are given. From an etymology standpoint, the article explores hybrid words in Kazakh. The hybrid words are created by merging Kazakh words or Kazakh language endings with phrases from another language. At the same time, first of all, borrowed words from a foreign language are adapted by the linguistic specifics of the Russian language. The article aimed to categorise hybrid terms into kinds depending on the languages into which the borrowed words were imported. It was determined that hybrid words were generated by merging the roots and endings of Greek-Latin, Greek-Latin-Kazakh, English-Kazakh, French-Kazakh, Arabic-Kazakh, Greek-Arabic, Greek-Arabic-Kazakh, Persian-Greek-Kazakh, Persian-Latin-Kazakh, Greek-Persian, Latin-Persian, and Persian-Kazakh. В данной статье рассматривается фольклористическая деятельность известного казахского поэта, фольклориста, историка, этнографа, востоковеда Машхур Жусип Копеева. В том числе его требования к сбору образцов фольклора, особенностям выдачи текстового паспорта, мировоззрению о фольклоре и др. Существует три источника формирования Машхур Жусипа в качестве ученого-фольклориста. Первый – принятие богатого наследия своего народа, устной литературы и фольклорных образцов; второй – овладение достижениями ученых Востока в средние века; третий – влияние западных ученых, в том числе русской интеллигенции. Известно, что в процессе сбора устной литературы и фольклорных образцов Машхур Жусип опирался на определенные принципы сбора. Оно возникает из просветительско-демократических взглядов поэта. Машхур Жусип Копеев относился к фольклору как благородному наследию, не подлежащему к изменению, исправлению, а также придерживался условии для того, чтобы текст был записан как есть. Поэтому особо следует отметить, что поэт не забывал указывать, от кого что получил. Значение трудов Машхур Жусипа по сбору казахского фольклора не ограничивается одной областью, он является бесценным источником материалов для таких областей как: история, философия, педагогика и др. Это, в свою очередь, указывает на важность работы Машхур Жусип Копеева, которая была проанализирована в статье.

Introducing English to learners should be facilitated through cultural materials included in the textbooks. English as a Foreign Language (EFL) textbooks should contribute to students’ respect of their local culture and the culture of the studied language, followed by honouring the disparities between different ethnic or religious groups and uniting with nature and life. The EFL textbooks should raise students’ comprehension of the diversity of cultures while learning English as a foreign language. Thus, the purpose of our study is to investigate the structure of EFL textbooks used in Kazakhstani primary schools, examining how cultural content is presented within them and to what extent they support students’ ICC. The descriptive study used the content analysis of the three textbooks for teaching EFL in Kazakhstan’s primary schools – Smiles 2, Smiles 3, and Smiles 4. The results showed that the textbooks mostly contain information about the target culture, including the source culture and international cultures. The textbooks focus on culture themes such as Social, Personal, Politics, Religious, and Environmental Issues. The textbooks also provide adequate intercultural communication skills. The study includes the practical implications of providing students with a sufficient number of references to the target, source, and international cultures for the development of their intercultural communicative competence.

This article examines the problem of the means of subject nomination in modern English. A necessary condition prerequisite for the functioning of language as a means of human communication is its ability to name because it designates various objects and phenomena of objective reality by linguistic means. Nominative units of language are, so to speak, the building material for communicative units since the process of information transfer in the act of linguistic communication is based on the direct introduction into the utterance of words signifier previously unmentioned denotations. In general, naming can be defined as the relation of the planes of the signified and the signifier, represented by the connection of the linguistic unit with the real object. In this article only one type of linguistic nomination is considered – subject nomination. Subject nomination differs from the other types of nomination mainly by the nature of the so-called real objects. The plane of the signified is represented in it by a set of designations, the main feature of which is "materiality", (subjectivity in a broad sense), whereas denotations of other types of nomination are characterized either by processuality (verbal nomination) or by characterization (adjectival and adverbial nomination). The study of the subject nomination in English is carried out both in terms of the signified (the structure of the denotation) and in terms of the signifier (the linguistic means of expressing the denotation). The starting point of the analysis is a set of linguistic units that serve to express subject denotations.

The article examines the use of national expressions, one of the features of the poetics of the poet, thinker Mashkhur Zhussip Kopeev. The purpose of the article is to identify the use of words, artistic features of the poet, reflecting his individuality, specificity in literature and thereby forming an initiative to study the poetics of the poet. The research has scientific and practical significance. It can also be used in local history lessons, in the discipline of literature of the early twentieth century and general theory of literature. The poet's poems clearly show that the national expression, Kazakh cognition, national color play a big role in enriching Mashkhur Zhussip’s creativity, in determining his difference from other poets-writers. It can be said that this experience of the scientist, who grew up reading folk literature, and then collected folklore himself, positively influenced his work. Skillfully using national knowledge, he developed literature in terms of genre, style, art and imagery. In the article, examples taken from the works of a poet were analyzed using scientific evidence and compared with the opinions of scholars. To identify the specificity of using national elements, methods such as gathering, analyzing, comparing, and hermeneutics were employed. National elements were examined in relation to three categories: enriching the vocabulary with vernacular words, national elements in religious connotations, and archaisms. The poet's poems from the multivolume collection of works were chosen as the object of research.

This article discusses the female archetypes presented in the characters of the stepmother and mother in English folk tales as the embodiment of the image of one of the most significant literary archetypal images "Mother". The purpose of this article is to analyze the archetypes of the stepmother and mother, which are a manifestation of the light or dark side of one archetype of the "Mother" on the material of some magical and everyday English folk tales. The work presents excerpts and examples from such folk tales as “The rose tree”, “The Well Of The World's End”, “Kate Crackernuts”, “The House in The Lake”, “Fate of the Children of Lir”, “ Jack and His Golden Snuff-Box”, “The Red Ettin” “Lazy Jack”. In addition, an attempt is being made to present variants of the classifications of female archetype images, which today is ambiguous and not always specific. The archetype "Mother" is not necessarily the mother of the hero, it can in fact be any woman of the older generation who has a psychological influence on the hero, on his life and worldview and is not in a relationship with him The authors come to the conclusion that the female archetypal image can become a source of strength for the hero, endowing him with the ability to survive and stand against trials. However, in a negative aspect, it dooms the hero to powerlessness in the face of difficulties, weakens, makes dependent.

The study of English is more of a requirement than a choice or predisposition. Students' motivation is such a crucial part in foreign language acquisition that no instructor can overlook this critical aspect of the systematic and instructional approach. Among the variables that promote foreign language acquisition are aptitude for learning these languages, student intellect, tenacity or drive, the function of programs and textbooks, and the role of the foreign language instructor. The purpose of this study is to improve the professional English language skills training process for students at the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (APEMS). By studying the specialized texts, the following results are to be achieved: the formation of the oral and written communication skills, as well as the achievement of some performances that allow the student to read fluently the literature in the studied foreign language. Conclusions: The subject of student motivation is studied by most of the professors at the Department in the APEMS. That is why, at the methodical assemblies of the Department in common with the High School colleagues, we have exchanged experience in the field, concluding that most foreign language teachers opt for the use of modern methods and different means of motivating students to learn systematically and creatively.
