This article examines the problem of the means of subject nomination in modern English. A necessary condition prerequisite for the functioning of language as a means of human communication is its ability to name because it designates various objects and phenomena of objective reality by linguistic means. Nominative units of language are, so to speak, the building material for communicative units since the process of information transfer in the act of linguistic communication is based on the direct introduction into the utterance of words signifier previously unmentioned denotations. In general, naming can be defined as the relation of the planes of the signified and the signifier, represented by the connection of the linguistic unit with the real object. In this article only one type of linguistic nomination is considered – subject nomination. Subject nomination differs from the other types of nomination mainly by the nature of the so-called real objects. The plane of the signified is represented in it by a set of designations, the main feature of which is "materiality", (subjectivity in a broad sense), whereas denotations of other types of nomination are characterized either by processuality (verbal nomination) or by characterization (adjectival and adverbial nomination). The study of the subject nomination in English is carried out both in terms of the signified (the structure of the denotation) and in terms of the signifier (the linguistic means of expressing the denotation). The starting point of the analysis is a set of linguistic units that serve to express subject denotations.

The article examines the use of national expressions, one of the features of the poetics of the poet, thinker Mashkhur Zhussip Kopeev. The purpose of the article is to identify the use of words, artistic features of the poet, reflecting his individuality, specificity in literature and thereby forming an initiative to study the poetics of the poet. The research has scientific and practical significance. It can also be used in local history lessons, in the discipline of literature of the early twentieth century and general theory of literature. The poet's poems clearly show that the national expression, Kazakh cognition, national color play a big role in enriching Mashkhur Zhussip’s creativity, in determining his difference from other poets-writers. It can be said that this experience of the scientist, who grew up reading folk literature, and then collected folklore himself, positively influenced his work. Skillfully using national knowledge, he developed literature in terms of genre, style, art and imagery. In the article, examples taken from the works of a poet were analyzed using scientific evidence and compared with the opinions of scholars. To identify the specificity of using national elements, methods such as gathering, analyzing, comparing, and hermeneutics were employed. National elements were examined in relation to three categories: enriching the vocabulary with vernacular words, national elements in religious connotations, and archaisms. The poet's poems from the multivolume collection of works were chosen as the object of research.

This article discusses the female archetypes presented in the characters of the stepmother and mother in English folk tales as the embodiment of the image of one of the most significant literary archetypal images "Mother". The purpose of this article is to analyze the archetypes of the stepmother and mother, which are a manifestation of the light or dark side of one archetype of the "Mother" on the material of some magical and everyday English folk tales. The work presents excerpts and examples from such folk tales as “The rose tree”, “The Well Of The World's End”, “Kate Crackernuts”, “The House in The Lake”, “Fate of the Children of Lir”, “ Jack and His Golden Snuff-Box”, “The Red Ettin” “Lazy Jack”. In addition, an attempt is being made to present variants of the classifications of female archetype images, which today is ambiguous and not always specific. The archetype "Mother" is not necessarily the mother of the hero, it can in fact be any woman of the older generation who has a psychological influence on the hero, on his life and worldview and is not in a relationship with him The authors come to the conclusion that the female archetypal image can become a source of strength for the hero, endowing him with the ability to survive and stand against trials. However, in a negative aspect, it dooms the hero to powerlessness in the face of difficulties, weakens, makes dependent.

The study of English is more of a requirement than a choice or predisposition. Students' motivation is such a crucial part in foreign language acquisition that no instructor can overlook this critical aspect of the systematic and instructional approach. Among the variables that promote foreign language acquisition are aptitude for learning these languages, student intellect, tenacity or drive, the function of programs and textbooks, and the role of the foreign language instructor. The purpose of this study is to improve the professional English language skills training process for students at the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (APEMS). By studying the specialized texts, the following results are to be achieved: the formation of the oral and written communication skills, as well as the achievement of some performances that allow the student to read fluently the literature in the studied foreign language. Conclusions: The subject of student motivation is studied by most of the professors at the Department in the APEMS. That is why, at the methodical assemblies of the Department in common with the High School colleagues, we have exchanged experience in the field, concluding that most foreign language teachers opt for the use of modern methods and different means of motivating students to learn systematically and creatively.

Настоящая статья посвящена актуальной проблеме современного казахстанского образования – повышению функциональной грамотности населения. В понимании функциональной грамотности, в том числе грамотности чтения, мы опираемся на методологические положения международных сопоставительных исследований PISA, PIAAC. Как показывают результаты исследования PIAAC-2018, взрослое население Казахстана, в том числе и молодые люди в возрасте 16-24 лет, обладают невысоким уровнем грамотности чтения. В связи с этим важно в процессе подготовки специалистов в вузах делать акцент на развитие грамотности чтения. Для этого необходимо разработать инструментарий по замеру грамотности чтения. Через систему тщательно отобранных текстов и разработанных к ним заданий следует измерять и формировать грамотность чтения у студентов, в частности, такие навыки работы с текстом, как нахождение, понимание, рассуждение и оценка. Развитие грамотности чтения у студентов позволить улучшить их образовательные достижения, повысить их конкурентоспособность на рынке труда, а также создаст возможности для улучшения их благополучия в общественной и личной жизни. Авторами публикации на основе методологии международных сопоставительных исследований PISA, PIAAC ранее была разработана теоретическая рамка оценки грамотности чтения. В этой статье описаны особенности разработанного инструментария по замеру грамотности чтения: описаны принципы отбора текстов, а также методологическая рамка разработки тестовых заданий

Статья посвящена выявлению сущности этических знаний, описанию этапов формирования понятия о моральных знаниях, интерпретации их в оценочной деятельности субъекта. Цель работы: выяснение когнитивного статуса моральных категорий, исследование их в рамках когнитивной парадигмы с целью когнитивно-репрезентативного измерения и концептуального анализа. Методы исследования: этико-категориальный анализ, ассоциативный эксперимент, моделирование, концептуальный анализ. Получены результаты: описана природа этического знания и охарактеризованы этапы его формирования: этап первичной концептуализации, когда формируется формат знания – понятие, дающее представление о признаках знаний, их обобщении, осмысливании и означивании; этап вторичной концептуализации, когда этические знания соотносятся с оценочными предикатами в интерпретативно-оценочной деятельности субъекта; осуществлен концептуальный анализ концепта «этические знания». Научная новизна: подтвержден когнитивный статус этических знаний и доказана их когнитивная сущность, дано их определение как результата оценочной познавательной деятельности субъекта, выявляющей моральную сущность человека, имеющей значимость для индивида, осуществлен анализ этических знаний.

The fourth technological revolution introduces new changes in the direction and structure of world science. The content of the socio-humanitarian direction has expanded, and new concepts of education have appeared. Gender education is one of the fastest-developing areas of the social sphere of education. In Western countries, gender education began in the second half of the twentieth century and was carried out in Kazakhstan from the first years of sovereignty. The functioning of research centers focused on gender studies has had a beneficial effect on the formation of education in this area. Now half of the universities conduct gender-based disciplines with expanding priority directions. The sphere of gender knowledge, initially covering only the sociological direction, is filled with politics, economics, philology, and history. Gender education is considered as one of the most important components of the educational process of social and humanitarian specialists. Its content includes ideological and universal values. The problem of gender education and the study of the content of gender education are considered in various aspects. In Kazakhstan, gender education, and interdisciplinary connections are not clearly expressed, and the direction is not fully distinguishable. In this article, the gender education in Kazakhstan is studied, and creation of the concept of gender education is studied.
